About

Keith Mlyniec – Pastor

Why I’m Here
After working in Iceland with my wife and family for ten years in a church planting ministry with Greater Europe Mission, I felt the call to return to my home state of Rhode Island to pastor a church. What I didn’t know at the time was that my college church was at the very same time looking for a pastor – someone just like me! Coincidence? I don’t think so! This could only have come about by the leading of the Holy Spirit and the providence of God.

So now, after a journey of almost thirty years, I find myself, as a friend of mine recently said, having come full circle. He knows that this is the very church that had a significant influence in my coming to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grounding me in the fundamentals of the faith, discovering my spiritual gifts, guiding me into ministry, and opening my eyes to the needs of the world. In fact, this is the place where I saw my first missionary slide show – something that God used to prompt me to consider going to the mission field.

The reason that I’m glad that I’m here is that I know I am in the right place at the right time with the right people. I now have the privilege to pass on my faith, experiences, and passion to a new generation of believers. I’m humbled and excited that God has chosen me to be yet another link in a long chain of faithful and caring pastors that have ministered to this congregation as well as the local community for well over one hundred years. I look forward each day to see the daily and eternal impact that God will bring about through the ministry of the members of our church as we seek to do our part in the furthering of the kingdom of God in our neighborhoods, our state, our country, and around the world.
