What to Expect

When you come to our Sunday morning church service you can expect to be blessed.  When you enter our front door you will find people at the guest center who will be glad to be of assistance and answer any questions you may have.  If you listen closely, you will hear some worship music coming from our sanctuary.  Once you hear that, it’s probably time to find a seat.  On your way to your seat you will be given a bulletin that contains the order of service as well as various announcements.  Feel free to sit in any pew – they are all quite comfortable.

Our service starts with the congregation standing and singing a contemporary song of praise.  It’s led by a great worship team consisting of over 12 musicians and singers.  Then we usually sit down to hear a few important announcements.  After that, we have an extended praise and worship time in song and prayer. We love to exalt the name of Jesus! From there, we go into a time of congregational prayer, which is led by various people in the congregation.  After an offering we dismiss our third grade and under children to go downstairs to a Junior Church time of their own.  At this time, we typically have about a half-hour very relevant sermon based on a Bible passage.  We totally believe that the Bible is God’s Word and enjoy hearing from it!  At the end of the sermon, we have a closing song and prayer.  But wait!  It’s not really over!

At the close of our service we always have a time of fellowship where you can get a cup of coffee (or iced-tea) and chat.  This is a very important part of our Sunday mornings, so please don’t miss out.  From there, most likely someone will shake your hand and tell you that it was nice to have you with us and please come back again.  The nice thing is…they’ll really mean it!
